IncubEx, a developer for exchange traded environmental products, services, and technology solutions, is pleased to announce that Marie Christine Bluett has joined as Director of Renewable Markets.
In her role, she will focus on market development and strategy in the European carbon and renewable certificates markets. Bluett will work from Amsterdam with IncubEx’s London-based team.
Bluett commented:
“Renewables markets have undergone tremendous growth over the last decade. Yet, further transparency is needed to strengthen consumer trust. I’m excited to be working alongside my American and European colleagues at IncubEx to help foster further growth of global renewables markets.”
Prior to joining IncubEx, she built and managed South Pole’s renewables portfolio, advising corporate and wholesale market participants on their renewables sourcing options.
She started her career at the Norwegian state-owned, renewable energy producer Statkraft, where she focused on certificates trading and origination. She has been a board member of RECS International for the last eight years and as such is closely connected to regulatory and market developments in Europe and globally.
Bluett is an economist by training and has lived in Germany, Australia, Italy, United States and the Netherlands, where she currently resides with her family.

Bluett is a graduate of the Universiteit van Amsterdam where she earned a bachelor of science degree in international economics and a masters degree in economics.
