Marie serves as Renewables Director at IncubEx, focusing on voluntary carbon and certificate markets. Prior to this, she built and managed South Pole’s Renewables Portfolio, advising corporate and wholesale market participants on their renewables sourcing options. Marie started her career working for the Norwegian state-owned, renewable energy producer Statkraft, where she focused on certificates trading and origination. She has been a board member of RECS International for the last 8 years and as such is closely connected to regulatory and market developments in Europe and the rest of the world. Marie is an Economist by training and has lived in Germany, Australia, Italy, the United States and the Netherlands, where she currently resides with her family.
